About the event


Herman is a terrific, inspirational artist who requires little to no introduction. He is always willing to share his vast knowledge on how to improve your paintings, by adding what he calls the X factor to your design and have a chat. As an oil painter myself over the past nine years since Herman has been visiting us I always pick up new ideas, how to break the rules, and to improve my paintings.

He is always willing to share his vast knowledge on how to improve your paintings, by adding what he calls the X factor to your design and have a chat. As an oil painter myself over the past nine years since Herman has been visiting us I always pick up new ideas, how to break the rules, and to improve my paintings.

In this workshop, you will learn about board/canvas preparation, design and composition of your subjects, and how to paint freely with a limited range of brushes and colours. Also, how to get light and atmosphere into your paintings which is Herman's trademark specialty.

Small class of 10 in a fantastic studio at the Bribie Arts Centre, which has its own Cafe for lunches...

Refund Poilcy: Full Refunds for all monies paid will be given 45 days out from the workshop commencement date. However, an administration fee of $50 will apply. No refunds will be given within the 45 day period.
