I am seeking expressions of interest to join me for this wonderful painting adventure planned for next year.
A lot of us have been to Tasmania; however, Flinders Island, just off the top of Tassie, is a bit different. It is part of the Furneaux Islands, a group of 52 islands. Known for its rugged coastlines, abundance of wildlife, and magical landscapes. As an artist friend of mine who has just returned from Flinders said, "There is a painting around every bend" You have to go there.
Briefly the island has a population of around 800 people. You can drive to most places within 30 minutes; it is 60 km long and 38 km wide. We will be hiring an 8-seater bus and another car to get us to and from our painting locations. There are a couple of IGA's, a wonderful art gallery, a few pubs and of cou…
